Origin and meaning: Hoàn Khiết – The name of the tea means the scent that purifies the dust, bringing people back to purity and cleanliness due to the characteristics of grapefruit scent and flowers picked in Thuỷ Biều ward, Huế city – which is a famous grapefruit growing area. In the spring, people in the countryside often pick some flowers, brew tea and offer it to their ancestors’ altars as a way to express their respect and also as a way to purify and connect with the divine world.
Ingredients and method: Grapefruit Tea – Hoàn Khiết uses ingredients from Oolong Tea grown in Bảo Lộc, Lâm Đồng, ingredients are collected from picking 1 bud with 3-4 leaves, including the top stem (near) to have Good quality, the tea is fermented at about 40% to reduce astringency but still retains the fresh flavor of green tea and fresh Grapefruit flowers are grown naturally in Thủy Biều commune – Huế, so it is very beneficial for health strong. The tea is fragrant with fresh Grapefruit flowers many times by Nhị Độ Mai’s artisans, causing the tea scent to penetrate deeply into each tea cell. The tea and flower flavors are fused and the taste persists through more than 10 brewing times.
Taste description: The tea has a pure, gentle Grapefruit scent mixed with the slightly astringent taste of the tea blending together to leave an aftertaste in the mouth, the feeling of tasting dew drops on flower petals.
Suggestions on how to use tea: It can be brewed very deliciously by cold brewing and hot brewing. For cold brew, add about 3 -5 grams of tea into 1000 ml of boiled and cooled water, then put in the refrigerator for about 5 – hours. To brew hot, add 5-7 grams of tea into a 200 ml pot of water, stir the tea (rinse the tea), then add 90 degree water and steep for about 15-20 seconds. Then you pour it all out and you can enjoy the tea.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. Always close the box/tea bag after use.
Expiry date: best used before 12 months from date of manufacture.
