Origin and meaning: Thanh Tiên tea is combined from main ingredients from green tea and fresh chrysanthemum flowers. The name of the tea is taken from the name of the area where chrysanthemums are grown, which is Thanh Tiên village, Phú Mậu commune, Phú Vang district – Huế. Ingredients and methods: Tea is grown naturally, harvested according to the standards of 1 young leaf, 1 bud, 1 leaf and 1 bud, 2 leaves and the tea is made by “golden hands” artisans in the Tân Cương – Thái Nguyên. After that, the tea is combined to refine aroma with medicinal chrysanthemum flowers cared for and harvested by Nhị Độ Mai teahouse in Thanh Tiên village – Huế.
Taste description: The brewed tea has a light green yellow color. The tea has a characteristic green rice flavor, a nutty taste like chestnuts, the aroma of flowers and grass, a bit of the tangy aftertaste of mustard leaves, and even a hint of cinnamon that combines harmoniously with the sweet scent. Suggestions for how to make tea: It can be brewed very deliciously by cold brewing and hot brewing. For cold brew, add about 3 -5 grams of tea into 1000 ml of boiled and cooled water, then put in the refrigerator for about 5 – hours. When hot, add 6-8 grams of tea into a 200 ml pot of water. Add cooled water at a temperature of 75-80 degrees and soak for about 30 seconds – 1 minute. Then you pour it all out and you can enjoy the tea.
